Finally, a Tribute to Public Radio
Bob and Jon welcome their second-ever guest, Rich Rarey, from NPR Labs. BTRS explores cleaning AM Radio, NPR’s new studio move, the Big Syrup story and another Sound Effect of the Week. Let’s just hope Rich will be back on the show again someday.
We Can All Use a Little Laugh
It’s been a trying week. This episode was produced just before the bombing attacks in Boston. As a nation recovers and we all look for answers, we offer this program as a way of bringing a little smile…especially as we navigate the troubling times in which we live. Like you, we offer our support and prayers to the victims and their families and remain grateful for the first-responders who rushed in to help save lives at a horrible scene.
With our signature silliness intact (as evidenced by the stunned look on this listener’s face), we bring some radio industry headlines, honor Jonathan Winters, hear from Sponge Bob Square Pants and enjoy a new Sound Effect of the Week.
A Salute to Poetry Month!
Join Bob and Jon in Episode 4 as they explore the latest industry headlines, a new Sound Effects of the Week (with a special bonus feature) and a new Mix Mash Throwdown featuring an up and coming dictator!
No guest this week, but what we lack in meaningful content…we gain in speed.
What is Really Hurting Radio?
Episode 3 brings a serious focus as Bob and Jon dig deeper to find out what really is troubling the radio industry. BTRS welcomes their first, ever guest, Doug Erickson of Erickson Media. Finally, they’re asking someone who knows what’s going on and offers some insight.
